With alleged NHS inadequacies currently being examined in high places, a word of satisfaction at grass-roots performance might be welcome.
Recently undergoing surgery at the John Radcliffe Hospital, I could not have been better looked after, both in the operating theatre and with considerate, gentle and cheerful pre- and post-operative nursing.
