OWEN MAUGHAN, 24, of Lenthall Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour towards a man in Oxford on January 6. He changed his plea, having previously denied the offence. He accepted a charge of failing to attend a court hearing in August. He was jailed for two weeks and ordered to pay £100 in compensation.

TINTOJOY THARAPPEL, 37, of Brasenose Driftway, Oxford, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis at Abingdon police station in August. He was given a community order with 80 hours of unpaid work, a 17 month driving ban and was ordered to pay £199 in costs and surcharge.

ANTHONY MUTEESA, 45, of Vickers Way, Grove, admitted drink driving a VW Tiguan on the a34 southbound near Marcham. Tests taken after he was stopped on August 26 showed he was exactly twice the legal limit, blowing 70mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £940, banned from driving for 17 months and ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £376 victim surcharge.

LUKE BISHOP, 20, of Burwell Meadow, Witney, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Skoda Fabia in Market Square, Witney, on August 26. He blew 57mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath; the legal limit is 35. He was banned from driving for 15 months, fined £438 and was ordered to pay £260 in costs and surcharge.

HAYDN AVERY, 24, of Woodgreen Avenue, Banbury, admitted possession of a knife in Ermont Way, Banbury, on September 10. Avery was given a community order with 150 hours of unpaid work and was ordered to pay £199 in costs and surcharge. The knife was forfeited to the police and will be destroyed.

SAM FOXCROFT, 23, of North Road, Tattershall, pleaded guilty to possession of an offensive weapon – a knuckleduster – in Market Square, Witney, on December 16 last year. The magistrates imposed 100 hours of unpaid work as part of a community order. The weapon was handed over to the police and Foxcroft was ordered to pay £199 in prosecution costs and victim surcharge.

KIMBERLEY RUSSELL, 46, of Knights Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to four counts of criminal damage. She damaged a Fiat Ducato motorhome, a Ford Fiesta and a VW Golf, as well as a door and window frame. All the offences were committed in Knights Road, where Russell lives, in December last year. The magistrates ordered she pay £200 in compensation and a £100 fine.

SEBASTIAN JAKUBOWSKI, 32, of Regent Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to burgling a bedsit room in the Regent Street property where he lived. He stole a Samsung TV, Amazon Alexa device and 30g of tobacco.  He received a community order with up to 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days and was ordered to pay £50 in compensation. He was separately fined £20 for failing to turn up for an earlier hearing in July.

JOANNE MCCLEMENTS, 46, of Luther Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to handling stolen alcohol in Oxford in July and failing to surrender to bail and turn up to an earlier hearing. She was fined £50 and ordered to pay £30 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
