A pub in Oxfordshire has been listed in a prestigious pub award which has been running for almost a quarter of a century.

The Rose and Crown in Ashbury has been listed under the Community Hero category for this year’s Great British Pub Awards.

The venue is a traditional and comfortable village pub and inn, nestled at the foot of the White Horse Downs, in a scenic area on the borders of Wiltshire and South Oxfordshire.
