Two men and a woman have been arrested following a suspected stabbing in Oxford.

A man was assaulted in the vicinity of Crowberry Road, Blackbird Leys, at around 3.40pm yesterday, Thursday, September 14.

He was taken to hospital with a suspected stab wound to his leg.

He has since been discharged.

A 34-year-old man, a 26-year-old man, a 27-year-old woman, all from Oxfordshire, have been arrested on suspicion of GBH.

They all remain in custody.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following the assault.

Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Underhill said: “We are carrying out an investigation in connection with this incident, where we believe those involved are known to each other.

“Three people have been arrested and they remain in custody at this time."

“Members of the public are likely to see an increased police presence while our enquiries are ongoing. A dispersal order is also in place until Saturday evening (16/9).

“We are asking anyone with witness information following this incident to either speak to one of our uniformed officers, report online, or call 101 quoting reference 43230412878.            

“Additionally if anyone has CCTV, mobile or dash-cam footage that could assist we would ask them to get in touch.

“Or if you do not wish to speak the police, you can report 100% anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
