A man with links to Oxford is wanted on recall to prison as officers believe he may have travelled abroad. 

Officers are looking for 32-year-old Khaled Meridja from Southampton, who has links to both Oxford and London.

Meridja is described as 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, with short black hair and a full beard.

He has a scar that runs from the corner of his left eye to his left ear, and a tattoo on his left wrist with the name ‘Sinead’ and a heart symbol.

Police have warned anyone harbouring Meridja may be committing an offence.

A police spokesman said: "Officers have conducted a number of enquiries to locate him, and these efforts will continue, however we are also asking the public to report any information to assist us.

"We would like to remind people that anyone found to be harbouring Khaled to deliberately obstruct our attempts to locate him may be committing an offence and be liable for arrest themselves."

Officers have warned the public to not approach him if they see him but to contact the police.
