DANIEL WEBB, 40, of Luther Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to stealing a bicycle in Turl Street on August 11. He was sentenced to 18 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year and a half, with the magistrates citing his record of previous offending. The offence put him in breach of a six-month conditional discharge imposed in March. He was ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs.

AIMAL DAWLATZAI, 25, of Wheatfield Drive, Witney, was found guilty of assault by beating. The magistrates imposed 150 hours of unpaid work as part of a community order and ordered that Dawlatzai pay £200 in compensation. The bench also ordered the payment of £314 in costs and surcharge.

MICHAEL BRYAN, 60, of Boundary Brook Road, Oxford, was convicted of two counts of assault by beating in Oxford last September. He was ordered to pay £100 in compensation to each victim. A restraining order bans him from going to a property in Morrell Crescent for two years.

ANDREW REEVE, 55, of Wellington Street, Thame, pleaded guilty to using disorderly behaviour in Thame on March 19. He was fined £440 and ordered to pay £50 in compensation. The court record noted that Reeve had used ‘homophobic abuse’. He was ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £176 victim surcharge.

ADAM MARMONT, 27, of Hyde Meadow View, Witney, was caught driving a Mercedes AMG while disqualified on consecutive days in March. He admitted driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and failing to identify a driver alleged to have been guilty of a traffic offence. He received a four month suspended prison sentence, must wear a GPS tag until February 23 next year and was banned from driving for three years. He must pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

SONNY MANNION, 33, of Appletree Close, Oxford, was found guilty of using disorderly behaviour in Denmark Street, Oxford, on June 6. He received a 12 month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £126 in costs and surcharge.

BEN HIGGS, 27, of Crowmarsh Hill, Crowmarsh Gifford, admitted drug driving an L200 on the A4130 in Nettlebed on March 4. Blood tests showed he was over the legal limit for cannabis. Higgs was fined £120, banned from driving for a year and must pay £133 in costs and surcharge.

DAVID LAIRD, 35, of Colton Road, Shrivenham, admitted two counts of assault by beating in the south west Oxfordshire village. He was given a community order with an alcohol treatment requirement, a mental health treatment programme, £120 fine, and a restraining order banning him from contacting his victim until August 2025. He must also pay a £114 victim surcharge.

JORDAN STRINGER, 27, of Cullum Road, Wheatley, pleaded guilty to drug driving a VW Golf on Grenoble Road, Oxford, in March. Tests showed he was over the legal limit for cannabis. He was fined £120, banned from driving for three years and must pay a £48 victim surcharge.

DONNY SAM, 50, of Cowley Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to stealing clothing worth almost £185 from Superdry in the Westgate shopping centre. Sam was fined £120 and ordered to pay £133 in costs and surcharge.

SEAN WRIGHT, 26, of Waller Drive, Banbury, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Ford Kuga in Woodgreen Avenue, Banbury, on August 9. Tests showed Wright had 89mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, more than two-and-a-half times the legal limit of 35mcgs. He was fined £415, banned from driving for 20 months and ordered to pay £251 in costs and surcharge.
