The crew from a hit TV series were spotted filming in an Oxfordshire town for the second time in less than a week.

The team from the BBC’s Sister Boniface is shooting season three of the show in Banbury.

Sister Boniface is a spin-off from the daytime crime drama Father Brown.

Film crews were first spotted on August 3 and were back filming in the town on August 7.

A set had been built on Parson’s Street in the town centre and showed a shop called ‘Salem’s Dolls.’

Sister Boniface stars British comedian Lorna Watson as the main character.

The series is set in England in the early 1960s with Sister Boniface being a Catholic nun in a fictional town in the Cotswolds.

But due to her PhD in forensic science she also serves as a scientific adviser to the police in investigations.

Season one was released in February 2022, with season two coming out earlier this year.

Filming for season three began on June 22 this year.
