JASON BOURTON, 43, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to burgling Watson’s in Broad Street, Oxford, on May 7 and possession of cannabis on the same date. He was jailed for six months, with the court record noting that Bourton had a ‘flagrant disregard for people and their property’. He was ordered to pay £50 in compensation and the cannabis was forfeit.

DANUTA SCISLO, 35, of Copse Lane, Marston, admitted speeding on the A40 Northern Bypass on February 28 last year. Her Mini was caught doing 64mph in the 50 zone. The bench imposed three points and she was ordered to pay £144 in costs and surcharge.

MITCHELL LARMAN, 27, of Westfield Close, Grove, was given 20 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year and a half, with 120 hours of unpaid work, after he failed to comply with a community order imposed in 2020. He failed to attend unpaid work appointments in April 2023.

NUNO VASQUES, 45, of Bridge Street, Witney, pleaded guilty to trespassing on the tracks at Oxford railway station and assaulting a special constable. Both offences were committed on July 2 this year. Vasques was fined £160 and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge.

ISMAIL LAWAL, 45, of Faulkner Place, Brize Norton, was fined £266 and given four penalty points after he admitted speeding on the Northern Bypass in Oxford. His Nissan was snapped doing 67mph on the 50mph limit road last April. He must pay a £34 victim surcharge.

GINETTE BUCKLE, 52, of Robin Gibb Road, Thame, admitted drink driving a Toyota Aygo on Cornmarket, Thame, on New Year’s Eve last year. Tests showed Buckle had 104mlgs of alcohol in 100ml of blood. The legal limit is 80. She was fined £300, banned from driving for a year and was ordered to pay £620 in costs and surcharge.

DAVID COX, 34, of Churchway, Haddenham, admitted drug driving a Toyota Previa on Horseman Close, Oxford, in February. Blood tests showed he was over the legal limit for cannabis. He was fined £200, banned from driving for a year and must pay £165 in costs and surcharge.

PHILLIP KENT, 43, of Mendip Heights, Didcot, admitted driving a Citroen C3 on Canning Crescent, Oxford, while over the legal limit for benzoylecgonine. He was stopped on February 9 this year. The magistrates fined him £350, banned him from driving for a year and ordered he pay £225 in costs and surcharge.

MATTHEW BURGES, 45, of Nursery End, Stanford in the Vale, admitted drug driving a Vauxhall Astra in Station Road, Wantage, on February 27. Blood tests showed he was over the legal limit for cannabis. He was fined £120, banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay £133 in costs and surcharge.

ASHER BHAG, 44, of Spencer Crescent, Oxford, was found guilty of using threatening behaviour towards a man in Boars Hill, Oxford, on August 22 last year. He received a community order with a mental health treatment requirement and up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days. He must pay £775 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £114 victim surcharge.
