His body was discovered at around 3.30pm on April 16 after he left the house earlier that day.

Paramedics were called, but despite resuscitation efforts, he was pronounced dead at 3.52pm.

There was no evidence of suspicious circumstances or third-party involvement.

Oxfordshire’s assistant coroner, Judith Leach concluded that the death was suicide.

The inquest heard that the 41-year-old had a long history of depression.

Ms Leach told Oxford Coroner’s Court: “On the day before his death he told his partner he was feeling down, there is no indication he sought medical help.

“The following day Jozef left the house and did not return.”
