JAMIE KAFKE, 37, of Langford Gardens, Bicester, admitted drug driving a Jaguar XF on Buckingham Road, Bicester, on December 16 last year. He was over the limit for benzoylecgonine, blood tests showed. The magistrates fined Kafke £333, banned him for a year and ordered he pay £85 in costs and a £133 victim surcharge.

CLAUDIA MITAU, 43, of Mercury Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving a Peugeot 208 on the A4074 at Nuneham Courtney on June 6. He was banned from driving for a year, fined him £384 and ordered he pay £239 in costs and surcharge.

ERIC PAXTON, 33, of The Willows, Abingdon, admitted obstructing or resisting a constable in the execution of her duty in Oxford on July 30, 2022. He received a 12 month conditional discharge and must pay £50 in costs and surcharge.

KUDAKWASHE CHAVUNDUKA, 29, of Minerva Road, Kingston, pleaded guilty to drink driving a VW Golf on the A34 northbound onto the Wendlebury interchange at junction nine of the M40. Blood tests taken after he was stopped on New Year’s Day showed he was twice the legal limit. He was fined £369, banned from the roads for 17 months and must pay £233 in costs and surcharge.

CHRISTOPHER BALL, 31, of Challenor Close, Abingdon, admitted a spree of vehicle interference, damaging car fuel caps, damaging a garden hose and failing to surrender to the court. He carried out the attacks on a series of cars on Wantage Road, Didcot, on March 5 this year. He was ordered to pay a total of £205 in compensation and received a community order with a mental health treatment requirement. The magistrates also ordered that he pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

MATTHEW SMITH, 29, of Roman Way, Bicester, admitted personal possession of cannabis and ketamine in Bicester last November. He was given a six month conditional discharge and must pay £111 in costs and surcharge.

JAMES WALSH, 31, of Van Diemans Lane, Oxford, admitted driving a Nissan Note on Between Towns Road, Cowley, last October while over the legal limit for drugs cocaine and benzoylecgonine. He was banned from driving for three years and fined £500. He admitted a separate offence of possession of crack cocaine, a class A drug, for which he was fined another £150 and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

ARAF SADDIQ, 55, of Rymers Lane, Oxford, admitted driving a BMW 1 on Between Towns Road on January 27 when over the limit for drug benzoylecgonine. He was fined £150, banned from the roads for a year and ordered to pay £145 in costs and surcharge.

GERARD FREW, 34, of Brookfield Rise, Upper Tadmarton, pleaded guilty to drug driving a Seat Ibiza on Banbury Road, Kidlington, on January 16. Tests showed he had cannabis in his bloodstream. The magistrates banned him from driving for a year, fined him £466 and ordered he pay £85 to the prosecution in costs and a £186 victim surcharge.
