Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been enjoying the fresh air to take photos for our latest theme ‘world of water’.

Some pictures featured well-known local landmarks including the Radcliffe Camera while others were taken in cities around the globe.

It was difficult to pick a winner for photo of the week but in the end we chose Meggy Robertson’s joyful shot of a boy running through a water fountain.

Such simple pleasures can bring hours of fun during the school holidays but it’s best to bring a change of clothing with you.

Each week camera club members are given a theme and then post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.

A selection are chosen to feature in the Oxford Mail and online and one photo - nearly always based on the theme - is selected as photo of the week. The next theme is ‘we are family’.
