Oxford: Emergency services called to 'medical episode'

Police have confirmed they were called to a medical episode in Oxford last night (July 5).

Emergency services rushed to an incident on Between Towns Road at around 8.30pm. 

An eyewitness said that paramedics were assisting one woman on the road outside the Domino's Pizza store as officers directed traffic.

Thames Valley Police is unable to provide an update on the condition of the woman when asked by this newspaper. 

The road had been cleared with traffic returning to normal by around 9pm.

The Oxford Mail has approached the South Central Ambulance Service for a statement.
