The charge is so serious, a plea can only be taken at the crown court.
Gordana Austin, defending both men, indicated that the allegation was denied.
The justices remanded Page and Blanche, who of whom gave the court addresses in Gorleston, near Great Yarmouth, into custody to attend Oxford Crown Court on July 28 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
