Oxford Mail: Flowers left at scene of crash that killed three teenagers

Last night, an officer at the scene confirmed that the road has been closed for further inquiries into the crash.

The officer told an Oxford Mail reporter it would give them more room to work but he could not comment on why it has been closed now rather than earlier in the day.

The Oxford Mail has also approached Thames Valley Police for an update on the incident and the road closure.

Thames Valley Police has appealed to anyone who witnessed this incident or may have dash cam footage prior to the collision to get in touch.

The families of the teenagers have been notified and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Sergeant Matt Cadmore of the Joint Roads Policing Unit at Three Mile Cross said: “This is an extremely tragic incident which has resulted in the death of three young men.

“Our thoughts remain with their families and friends at this extremely difficult time.”
