All the recruits were presented with their passing out certificates by the assistant chief fire officer Matt Cook, and now go off to join their crews at station.

A spokesman for Bicester Fire Station said: “The new recruits will now join us at station where they will be put through their paces on the drill yard and complete an assessed drill before they will be ‘on the run’ and responding to fire calls.

“We wish them a long and successful career with us.”
