Clarkson’s Farm hero Kaleb Cooper took to Instagram to announce the birth of his daughter – in Chipping Norton.

The tractor-loving sidekick to Jeremy Clarkson on the hit Amazon Prime series posted a cute picture of himself holding the linen-swaddled baby in his arms.

With the sleeves of his checked shirt rolled to his elbows, 24-year-old Cooper was seen smiling at the camera while his daughter slept soundly.

He wrote: “Welcome to the word. Willa Grace Cooper. Born in CHIPPING NORTON.”

The image, which was posted on social media site Instagram on Saturday (June 10), already had more than quarter of a million ‘likes’ by Sunday lunchtime.

Among those to post their congratulations was Hawkstone, the drinks brand set up by Jeremy Clarkson, and Daylesford Organics founder and West Oxfordshire peer Carole Bamford.

Baby Willa is Cooper’s second child with fiancée Taya. The couple have a two-year-old son, Oscar.

Earlier this month, the farmer announced he was swapping the tractor for the theatre. The national tour begins in Nottingham next February.

Cooper, who once claimed that he got a nosebleed going to Stow-on-the-Wold some 18 miles away from Chipping Norton, revealed the move on social media, saying: "I’m braving it and leaving Chippy for a UK theatre tour!”
