A young man denies a knife bust-up with another who came to his house armed with a weapon.
Hasan Zubair, 22, appeared before Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (June 8) to plead not guilty to offences of affray and possession of a knife.
The charges followed an alleged incident outside the home in Alma Road, Banbury, on April 25, when ‘somebody came to his house with a knife’.
Judge Maria Lamb granted the defendant conditional bail to return to the crown court in September for his trial.
The case was placed in the ‘warned list’, meaning the one to two day trial could be called on at any time during a fortnight-long period starting on September 18.
