ANTHONY PAXTON, 44, of Merton Street, Banbury, pleaded guilty to drug driving. He was caught behind the wheel of a VW Golf in Wildmere Road, Banbury, on Christmas Eve last year when he was over the legal limit for cocaine. He was fined £120, banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay a £48 victim surcharge.

MACKAI HUTCHINSON, 18, of Union Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to stalking. He sent threatening messages over five days in March. The magistrates gave him a community order with a tag banning him from Bicester for eight weeks. He was also required to complete up to 39 rehabilitation activity requirement days. The bench ordered he pay £199 in costs and surcharge.

EMMA PIDGEON, 25, of Spitfire Drive, Witney, admitted drink driving a Mini Cooper in Corn Street, Witney. The driver was more than twice the legal limit, blowing 83mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was banned from the roads for a year and a half, fined £460 and ordered to pay £269 in costs and surcharge.

MATTHEW KENT, 21, of Longmead, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to drink driving a VW Polo on Dunmore Road, Abingdon, in April. Tests showed he had 49mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was banned from driving for a year, fined £184 and ordered to pay £159 in costs and surcharge.

ROXANNE TOWNSEND, 31, of Sorrel Way, Carterton, pleaded guilty to causing a man actual bodily harm in Witney on March 19 last year. She received 24 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for 18 months, with the court record noting that a weapon was used, the complainant was left with an injury and the attack was ‘premeditated’. As part of the suspended sentence, Townsend must complete a mental health rehabilitation requirement and alcohol rehab programme. Her victim was awarded £150 in compensation.

THOMAS URUIEZIUS, 42, of Blay Close, Oxford, was found guilty in his absence of assaulting a police officer at the John Radcliffe Hospital in October 2021 and using threatening behaviour towards another constable on the same date. The magistrates imposed a community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement and £200 in compensation.

CAMERON REEVES, 18, of Elm Close, Carterton, pleaded guilty to taking a Peugeot 107 without consent in January and drove it without a licence or insurance in Colwell Drive, Abingdon. He was fined £120 and given six points for driving without insurance, but received 80 hours of unpaid work and up to 12 rehabilitation activity requirement days for the vehicle taking. He must pay £199 in costs and surcharge.

JACK ALLISON, 26, of Ock Bridge Place, Abingdon, admitted drug driving a BMW 420 on Marcham Road, Abingdon, last November. Tests showed cannabis in his blood. He was fined £120, banned from the roads for a year and ordered to pay £133 in costs and surcharge.

ASWIN SRIRANJITHAN, 28, of Southbourne Close, Pinner, pleaded guilty to drink driving an Audi A3 on the M40 near Lewknor. He was more than three times the legal limit, blowing 100mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The magistrates ordered he do 170 hours of unpaid work as part of a community order and banned him from driving for 42 months. He must pay £199 in costs and surcharge.
