A new water feature with giant stepping stones will open for the first time this summer at an adventure play area near Henley.

Also featuring sluice gates and hand pumps, the new water play will open in time for May half term at Tumblestone Hollow play area in Stonor Park.

The feature has been designed to blend into the historic home's picturesque landscape.

William Stonor, Lord Camoys and custodian of Stonor Park, said: “Tumblestone Hollow was extremely popular last summer, as visitors looked for large open spaces where they could entertain children of all ages, eat tasty food and enjoy the summer sunshine with some welcome shaded spots too.

“With that in mind, we wanted to ensure there was even more water play for children to splash in, should there be lots of warm weather again.

“It’s important that we’re always improving our experience for visitors and we hope this addition gives children another reason to get excited about visiting our magical playground.”

Tumblestone Hollow is open for adventure days from Saturday, May 27 to Sunday, June 4 and features high-level walkways, lookout decks and bridges.
