Dosa Park, which has served customers Indian food in Oxford for many years, has opened a new restaurant in Botley.

Now in addition to the long established restaurant in Frideswide Square, there is a new one in West Way Square.

And it's much bigger than the original - with the capacity to serve 75 diners.

Mani Velusamy, who runs the West Way Square restaurant, said he was pleased with the reception from customers since it opened three months ago.

He added: "We're delighted with the response. Now we would like as many people as possible to know we are here so they can come and enjoy our food."

Dosa Park had been planning the new restaurant for a number of years but were forced to delay their expansion plans due to the pandemic.

Close to the Botley interchange, the new restaurant has been attracting customers from across Oxfordshire including Didcot and Bicester.

The Dosa Park website says: "Dosa Park is a popular South Indian restaurant that is located in Oxford.

"The restaurant was established with the aim of providing authentic and traditional South Indian cuisine to food lovers.

"At Dosa Park we believe in using fresh and high-quality ingredients to create delicious and healthy dishes that cater to the taste buds of everyone.

"Our menu features a wide range of South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, biryanis, curries, and more. We also offer a variety of vegan and vegetarian options for those who follow a specific diet.

Millions of pounds have been invested in new facilities in West Way Square in recent years.

They have been created by The Botley Development Company, a joint venture between Mace Developments and Doric Properties.

A new Premier Inn has also been built.
