A man has pleaded not guilty to dealing magic mushrooms.

Appearing before Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (May 25), Charlie Bromley, 43, of Minster Road, Brize Norton, denied possession with intent to supply 23.6g of the hallucinogenic fungus and possession of a bladed article – a Stanley knife – in a public place.

Prosecutors say he was intending to supply the class A drugs that were found on him when he was stopped in Carterton on October 24, 2021.

Recorder Samantha Presland set the case down for a warned list trial, meaning the two day case could be called on at any time in the two-week period beginning on November 6.

She granted Bromley unconditional bail.
