A Sainsbury's delivery driver was robbed near the Headington Roundabout in Oxford on Thursday (April 20). 

The incident occurred at around 8.30pm on Bayswater Road.

The victim, a man in his twenties, was driving his delivery van, when it was hit by a moped.

The victim got out of his van to check on the moped rider when a man approached the victim, shouted at him and searched the cab of the van.

Nothing was stolen in the incident, and the victim was not injured.

The rider of the moped is described as a man wearing dark clothing.

The second man is described as tall and was wearing a black jacket.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses to the robbery. 

 

Staff Investigator Marie Doherty, said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to please come forward.

“I’d also like to appeal to anybody who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage from along the Bayswater Road to please check this and get in touch if it has captured anything that may assist this investigation.
