A man pulled his trousers down and exposed himself, before performing an inappropriate act in front of a woman in Oxford

The incident occurred on Pullen Lane in Headington between 8.50 and 9.10pm on Sunday (April 16). 

The man followed the woman and shouted and swore at the victim, who responded by saying ‘no’.

The offender has then ridden off on an electronic scooter.

A number of similar incidents occurred in the same area, two on April 10 between 1 and 3.55pm and another on April 11 at around 12noon.

The incidents are all being linked.

The offender is described as an Arabic or Mediterranean man, aged between 20 and 30-years-old and between 5ft 5ins and 5ft 8ins tall.

He has short black wavy hair, a short beard and a skinny build.

In the incident on April 16 he was wearing black clothing, while on April 10, he was wearing grey jogging bottoms.

Police are now appealing for witnesses. 

Investigating officer PC Jordan Welch, based at Cowley police station, said: “We are investigating this series of incidents, which we are treating as linked to one another.

“I am appealing to anybody who believes that they witnessed any of the incidents to please contact Thames Valley Police, quoting reference number 43230169067.

“I would be particularly keen to hear from anybody who may have dash-cam, CCTV or phone camera footage from around the times of any of the incidents to please get in touch.

“Similarly, if anybody else has experienced similar incidents, please contact us.
