Its website said: "We first flung open the doors to our Leamington Spa store in March 2016, with our first store in Leamington Spa, we started off as a team of three selling 30 bagels a day that were bought in from a local home baker each morning, being filled to order and sent out to the small amount of risk-taking customers trying out a new food business on the high street.

"Our supplier couldn’t keep up with the demand and we began baking our own bagels in the middle of that summer."

The website added: "We roll, boil and bake thousands of bagels, hundreds of doughnuts with homemade salted caramel, chocolate ganache, curds and compotes as well as filled brownies, topped cookies and pretty damn great coffee and ship out to our stores at 6am daily!

Since 2019, a number of parties have been held in the street to boost trade after a committee was created, which included traders, city councillors and representatives from Oxford University colleges.
