A vibrant eatery selling Jamaican food has received a new hygiene rating having recently launched this year.
D’Moodz Caribbean Cuisine, a takeaway at Lock29 Castle Quay, Banbury, was given a score of three on March 2, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

D'Moodz Caribbean Cuisine serves authentic Jamaican food and the owner, Tavon Joseph, previously promised “jaw-dropping flavour, full of different spices" when he opened the business in February.
Mr Joseph was previously located in Oxford working with Spiced Roots but relocated to Banbury as an opportunity to set up his own business presented itself.
Another Cherwell estblishment, Buttercup sandwiches, a takeaway at 20a Bankside, Kidlington, was handed a four-out-of-five food hygiene rating after assessment on March 6, the latest hygiene rating show.
