Drivers are being warned there are delays northbound on the M40.
It follows an accident earlier between junction 9/A34 for Bicester and junction 10 at Brackley/Cherwell Valley Services.
Oxford Mail's live traffic feed is reporting the crash involved five vehicles.
All lanes have been re-opened.
The collision has been cleared but residual delays remain due to slow traffic.
Drivers are advised to "proceed with caution".
