Police launched an investigation after a man with Alzheimer's disease went missing from his Grandpont home for more than 24 hours before turning up safe and well at his son's house.
Family members alerted police after William Bird, 78, went missing from his home at around 10.30am on Sunday. They called off the search after he turned up at his son's house in London this afternoon.
