A man who was arrested for trespassing onto a railway line near Banbury has been released.
Officers were called to the line between Banbury and King's Sutton at 3.13pm yesterday following reports of a trespasser.
The trespasser had blocked all lines with passengers travelling between the two stations facing delays of up to 30 minutes.
A 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trespass and taken to police custody.
He has since been released and no further action will be taken against him.
