A 16-year-old has been arrested for theft and forgery offences.

The suspect was arrested in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, February 14) by Thames Valley Police’s Rural Crime Taskforce.

Two men were charged with multiple offences including fraud last month.

Taffyn Betnay, 32, of Benouville Close in Oxford, was charged with three counts of fraud and one count each of burglary, criminal damage and driving without a licence or insurance.

He was remanded in custody and appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court on January 18, where he was further remanded to appear at Oxford Crown Court on February 17.

Jordyn Betnay, 26, of the same address, was charged with one count each of possession of cannabis and possessing an offensive weapon in a private dwelling.

He was released on conditional bail to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court on February 8.
