Police have issued advice to Jeremy Clarkson fans who are expected to flood to the reopening of the Diddly Squat farm shop after its winter closure.

TVP West Oxfordshire posted on Facebook: "We know that many of you are excited about the reopening of Diddly Squat Farm Shop tomorrow (10 Feb)."

Then they then asked visitors not to park on verges or, if they must, to ensure they leave enough room for passing traffic and buses.

They added: "Please DO NOT park on the main A361, it’s just too dangerous."

The post said: "The farm are doing what they can to deal with the influx of visitors, so please follow signage on the day.

"If you are directed by staff, whether you are through traffic or visiting DSF, please be kind and patient with them – they are doing all they can to help keep you safe and allow traffic to flow."

It comes after Oxfordshire County Council also told fans not to park on verges or the A361.
