Burglars have stolen lots of jewellery from a house after smashing an upstairs window to gain entry.
The priority crime team in Abingdon are appealing for witnesses after an incident of burglary at a house in the North Hinksey area of Oxford.
A spokesperson for the police said: “We are requesting residents to review CCTV and doorbell footage in the area at the time of the offence.

“We are also requesting that anyone who walked near Harcourt Wood or Hinksey Heights to get in touch if they saw anyone or anything suspicious.
“The incident occurred yesterday (Monday, February 6) between the hours of 10am and 7.30pm.”
