A MAN has been charged with multiple counts of shoplifting across Oxford.

Jamie Boyle, 36, of John Morris Road in Abingdon, was charged with seven counts of shoplifting on Monday (January 30) following an investigation by Thames Valley Police.

The multiple charges relate to offences that happened between Sunday, November 20 last year and Thursday, January 19 this year.

Six of the shoplifting charges relate to offences that took place at different shops in London Road, Headington.

The other charge relates to an offence that happened at a shop in Old High Street, Headington.

Boyle is now due to appear at Oxford Magistrates Court on Thursday, March 16 to face the charges brought upon him.
