THE Carers Centre for the north and west of Oxfordshire is appealing for volunteers in the Bicester area.
The centre, based in Horse Fair, Banbury, will be holding events across the county this week for National Carers Week.
Today, an Alternative Therapy Taster Day will be held at Kidlington Fire Station, from 10am until 4pm.
Elaine Gilbert, of the Carers Centre, said: "I desperately need volunteers for the respite service in Bicester.
"Volunteers sit with a cared-for person while the carer goes out for a few hours, once a week or once a fortnight."
