Two men arrested in the wake of an alleged murder in Brize Norton remain in custody, police said.
A 44-year-old from Carterton was arrested in Abertillery, South Wales, on Wednesday. Thames Valley Police said yesterday (January 19) that a 28-year-old Milton Keynes man was arrested in South Leigh.
Both have been held on suspicion of murdering a man in his 20s at a house in Lock Court, on the Brize Meadow new build estate between Carterton and Brize Norton, on Monday night.
This morning (January 20), a spokesman for Thames Valley Police confirmed that the men remain in custody. A superintendent yesterday allowed detectives an additional 12 hours to hold the men without charge.
A post-mortem is expected to be carried out by a Home Office pathologist later today.
