A DRIVING disqualification of 52 months has been handed to a man found guilty of drink driving in Cowley.

Joao Guedes, 30, of Fieldfare Road in Oxford, was caught driving ‘very poorly’ along Watlington Road on November 29.

He was pulled over and required to give a specimen of breath which indicated Guedes to be over the prescribed limit of alcohol.

Guedes then pleaded guilty to one count of driving a motor vehicle whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol at Oxford Magistrates Court on Thursday (January 5)

He was disqualified from driving for 52 months, ordered to carry out 120 hours unpaid work, fined £199 and will need to complete up to 15 rehabilitation days.
