In the community group, Spotted Didcot, Mr Davis wrote: “Please help. My bike was stolen from outside Sainsbury’s Didcot at around 4.30pm (January 2).

“Please anything anyone can do to find it for me is appreciated. I’m begging.

“This bike really means a lot to me, it’s the only way I can vent my emotions as I have aspergers.”

The bike is red, silver and black and has ‘Eurobike’ written along the frame.

Mr Davis said police have been alerted to the theft.
