Yet another shopping trolly has been dumped in a town, creating an eyesore for residents.
Last month, a disgruntled local created a Twitter account to document the status of several trolleys which were dumped in the River Windrush.
The Sainsburys trolleys were reported to have been sitting in the River Windrush in Witney for a number of weeks, despite locals reaching out to both the supermarket chain and West Oxfordshire District Council to have them removed.
Eventually, the offending grocery reciprocals were removed from the river.
Well, another @sainsburys trolley escaping from Witney store! Another job for @Trolleywise when you fish the one out of the Windrush. This one is on the A4095 by the entrance to Richmond Village opposite Spring Meadow. OX28 5DG #litter pic.twitter.com/0jr8n5sNmA
