A MAN has died after a fatal road traffic collision on the B4100 near Hanwell.

The incident happened at around 9.25pm on Monday this week (November 28).

A white Honda CRV left the road and the driver of the vehicle, a man in his 80s, died at the scene. His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Two other occupants of the car were uninjured and no other vehicles were involved in the incident.

Investigating officer PC Dan Carter said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family at this very difficult time.

“We are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“We would also appeal to anyone who may have been in the local area and who has dash-cam footage that may help our investigation to get in touch.”
