EIGHT food establishments across Oxfordshire have been given a five star food rating from the Food Standards Agency.

A food hygiene rating reflects the standards of food hygiene found on the date of the inspection by the local authority.

Company Jewins Women2women in Burford was rated five stars along with Brown Cow Events, and Quince And Clover in Chipping Norton.

The Bull Inn in Sheep Street, Chipping Norton was also rated five stars along with Little Sandy's in Langdale Court, Witney, The Blind Tiger in Market Square, Witney, and The Falkland Arms in Great Tew, Chipping Norton.

A takeaway in Witney was also rated five stars - American Pizza in Corn Street.

Two other establishments were rated four stars. They are Pizza Hot in Cranbrook Court, Witney and The Dolphin pub in St Marys Street, Wallingford.
