These pupils took a step back to Biblical times to stage a memorable stage show for parents and friends.
A cast of 130 at St Andrew’s Primary School at Headington, Oxford, entertained a large audience in 1985 with their version of the rock opera, The Burning Bush.
The main feature of the hour-long show was a spectacular, specially-built imitation of the burning bush, which was more than 15ft high.

The opera told the story of Moses from his birth until the crossing of the Red Sea.
The school’s website says: “As a Church of England school we welcome families of all faiths and none to St Andrew’s.
"Our school life is underpinned by Christian values of hope, friendship, justice, forgiveness and trust. Our school aims to foster the unique abilities of all our children.”
