These are the knives prosecutors say were used to stab Keith Green to death on the eve of Valentine’s Day.
The black-bladed combat knife was found in a speaker beside alleged knifeman Mark Meadows’ bed, while the blue-bladed knife was retrieved from a drainage channel next to where the Amazon delivery man’s white van was parked.
On Wednesday, jurors at Oxford Crown Court heard that both knives could ‘possibly’ have been used to inflict the injuries suffered by 40-year-old Mr Green in his garden at 42 Howard Road on February 13.
Due to its shape, only one – the black combat knife – would have been able to inflict all 11 knife wounds, pathologist Dr Charlotte Randall said.
She accepted, under cross-examination, that any number of other knives could have caused the wounds.
The jury could see both knives, encased in clear plastic tubes.
Five deny murder. The trial continues.
