An Oxford restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Sartorelli's, a pizza restaurant based in Covered Market in Market Street, Oxford, was recently given the score after assessment on September 22, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Oxford's 414 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 349, 84 per cent, have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.

The hygiene standards found at the time of inspection are then rated on a scale: 5 is top of the scale, this means the hygiene standards are very good and fully comply with the law. 0 is at the bottom of the scale, this means urgent improvement is necessary.
