A MAN has died after a crash on the A420 this week.

The incident happened on Buckland Road at abound 7am on Monday morning (October 24). A red Alfa Romeo went off the road and into a field.

The driver of the Alfa Romeo suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. The man later died yesterday (October 25). His family are aware and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Investigating officer, PC Deborah Green, based at Abingdon police station, said: “We are investigating this incident in which a man has now sadly passed away. Our thoughts remain with his family at this difficult time.

“We continue to appeal for any witnesses that may have seen or have dash-cam footage of this incident.”
