Fire and Rescue teams arrived at the scene of a crash where the vehicle was on its roof in a ditch.

Both appliances from Rewley Road Fire Station were mobilised to a crash on the A34 on an exit slip road yesterday.

On arrival, crews were faced with a vehicle on its roof in a ditch.

A spokesperson for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Upon further investigation it was found the occupants were in the care of South-Central Ambulance Service (SCAS).”

As the vehicle was in an extremely precarious position, fire crews had to stabilise the vehicle in order to retrieve the personal belongings of the driver.

The fire service have warned drivers to be careful and ensure their cars are safe for driving now that the darker nights are setting in.
