Residents have been warned a man has been seen acting suspiciously outside properties on the Windrush Place estate in Witney.
The man was seen walking up to front doors, and surveying properties all seemingly without purpose on Saturday.
TVP West Oxfordshire posted on Facebook: "While we cannot determine this male's reasons for acting in this manner, residents are advised to just double check their doors and windows are closed or locked, if you're out, and just ensure that any valuables are not visible in porches or the front of house."
