A TWO-day annual rock and metal festival is taking place in Oxfordshire to raise money for charity.

Rabidfest will take place on Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6 at The Bullingdon in Cowley Road.

Technical Director, Greg Brown, said: “This year, event proceeds will be donated to the wonderful charity PACT; who provide vital services to adoptive families, women facing multiple disadvantages and children affected by domestic abuse.

“For Rabidfest 2022, we will be headlined by punk icons Discharge, responsible for era defining punk music which has since left a legacy inspiring metal-titans Metallica.

“Also, we will be joined by one of the most exciting bands in the scene today; Divine Chaos.

“The rock and metal communities are truly some of the most inclusive and welcoming - and at Rabidfest, this is ever paramount.

“We encourage an environment where everyone can be themselves, enjoy live music with like-minded people, and discover their new favourite music.

“We hope you can be part of an exciting new chapter of Rabidfest 2022.”

The line-up for Saturday is: Discharge, Krysthla, Footprints In The Custard, Alunah, Sulvain, Pulverise , The Grand Mal, Disinherit, 13 Burning, and Slay Duggee.
