Today (Thursday, October 6) is National Noodle Day and an Oxford restaurant is giving away 100 free boxes of noodles to lucky customers.
Chopstix Noodle Bar in Cornmarket Street is part of a chain of 50 stores nationwide which are donating 10,000 boxes of noodles to help out people struggling with the cost of living.
The first 100 customers to go to the store tomorrow having downloaded the voucher can grab themselves a free box of small noodles.

The noodle bar has also partnered with Your Local Pantry, which operates 80 community food hubs around the country, to donate 5,000 food vouchers to their hubs in the UK.
Rob Burns, marketing director for Chopstix, said: “The last few years have been a challenging time for people across the UK and now the cost of living crisis is putting more and more people under continued pressure.
“We wanted to do something to mark National Noodle Day that would look to make even a little difference and give people something to smile about."
