A man has been charged in connection with multiple assaults following a Thames Valley Police investigation.
Darren Garnon, aged 37, of Mawle Court, Banbury, has been charged with one count of assault by beating, one count of escaping lawful custody and two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker.
It is in connection with an incident that occurred in Chatsworth Drive and Caldwell Road on Sunday, October 2.

Garnon has been remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today (October 4).

Recent figures from the Home Office have shown there has been a rising number of attacks on emergency workers in the Thames Valley.
Thames valley police recorded 1,435 assaults on emergency workers in the year to March.
