THREE celebrities are due to appear a carol concert to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Unicorn School in Abingdon.

The school in Marcham Road is hosting the concert at Christ Church Cathedral on Saturday December 17 from 8pm to celebrate.

The candle-lit carol concert will feature Radiohead’s Philip Selway, Oscar-winner Jeremy Irons, and Shakespearean actress Sinead Cusack, all of whom will read festive poems.

In addition, the music will be led by the St. John’s Orchestra conductor John Lubbock as well as blind virtuoso pianist Derek Paravicini.

Headmaster Andrew Day said: “The support for this Carol Concert has been overwhelming from the local business community and celebrities and we very much hope that lots of people will join us for a festive evening of joyous song for a very good cause.”
