Sir - I lost a bunch of keys in Oxford city centre (probably Broad Street) on Saturday. Fortunately I was able to retrieve them from St Aldate's police station on Monday, but I should like to thank several people.
First, the person who took the trouble to take the keys to the police station on a very hot day. Second, numerous shopkeepers in the Oxfam/Flaggs area of Broad Street, who were unfailingly polite and helpful when I made enquiries of them on a busy Saturday afternoon.
